SAN ANTONIO — The Charlotte Hornets will face the San Antonio Spurs on national television this week, with the NBA announcing Tuesday that the road contest at Frost Bank Arena will air on NBA on Prime.
Tip-off has been rescheduled for 3:30 p.m. ET. The game will also be carried locally on the Hornets’ flagship radio station, WFNZ (92.7 FM).
The matchup marks Charlotte’s fourth nationally televised game of the season. The teams last met on Jan. 10 at Spectrum Center, where the Hornets earned a 111-106 victory that was also broadcast on Amazon Prime. Charlotte previously appeared on ESPN in a home game against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Jan. 21 and on Peacock for a road contest at Cleveland on Dec. 22.
The Hornets enter the game riding significant momentum after the All-Star break. Charlotte won 10 of its final 11 games before the break and has posted 15 victories since Jan. 1 — tied for the most in the NBA during that span. The team also owns the league’s second-best net rating of +9.7 over the same period.
Head coach Charles Lee was named Eastern Conference Coach of the Month for January, while rookie Kon Kneuppel has earned Kia Eastern Conference Rookie of the Month honors three times this season.
The Hornets return to action at home Thursday, Feb. 19, when they host the Houston Rockets at 7 p.m. ET at Spectrum Center.
